The Foundation Course shall provide a critical and concise introduction to the broad field of “Peace Studies” for students. It encompasses key conceptual, theoretical and analytical underpinnings including gender theories and gender-mainstreaming, international relations, political economy, human security, environmental sustainability and development studies, human rights, peace education, media studies, and theories of conflict resolution and transformation.
