This course introduces students
to the methodology and basic techniques of human rights field work used by
practitioners, whether working with the United Nations, other
inter-governmental organizations, national human rights institutions, or
non-governmental organizations. Students will gain the necessary skills
required in human rights reporting, monitoring, fact-finding and advocacy, with
a particular focus on being able to engage on the most serious human rights
violations.
